Why should I get pre-approved for an auto loan?
A pre-approval shows you have funding secured and can give you extra bargaining power at the dealership. Getting pre-approved with a lender rather than financing at the dealership also helps you avoid the added credit hits from a dealership sending your information out to multiple lenders, meaning your credit is less affected.
How do I pay my loans?
You can call, pay online via online/mobile banking, pay online via another financial institution, or visit us in-branch.
Do I need to be a member before I can apply for a loan?
To receive a loan from MCT, you must be a member. If you are not currently a member, MCT would ensure you are eligible to be a member first, then process your loan application. If your loan application is denied, you do not have to move forward with opening your membership.
What documents do I need to submit a loan application?
You’ll need to know how much you want to borrow, plus the following for all loan applicants:
