Scholarship Applications
The MCT Credit Union Scholarship Program has been established to provide senior level students with a portion of the funds needed to attend college. The philosophy of People Helping People has become a legacy of the credit union industry and MCT Credit Union demonstrates their commitment to this philosophy by investing in the future of our teens through the scholarship program.
MCT Credit Union will award multiple scholarships throughout Southeast Texas in the amount of $1,000 each to graduates who plan to continue their education at a trade school, 2 year or 4 year accredited college no later than the fall session after graduation. Recipients of an MCT Credit Union Scholarship must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a current member of MCT Credit Union with accounts in good standing.
- Be a graduating senior.
All applications should be mailed to MCT at 2736 Nall Street, Port Neches, TX 77651, no later than March 31, 2010 in order to be considered for the scholarship award.
MCT Credit Union awards the scholarships available each year to deserving students who demonstrate the ability to be an upstanding member of the credit union as well as the community they reside in. The scholarship application is meant to give the scholarship committee a clear understanding of the students' history, financial needs and educational goals. Incomplete applications diminish the ability to make these determinations. The decisions of the MCT Credit Union Scholarship Committee are final.
MCT Credit Union is a community chartered credit union serving anyone who lives, works or is located in Jefferson, Hardin and Orange counties.
